As most of you know, this fall
David Williams will be at Sanctuary for a long yoga weekend of practice and practical discussions on how to practice, teach, and the history of yoga. He is in my opinion a yoga "superstar", and he completely expanded my practice and teaching when I first met him six years ago. He was the first
ashtanga teacher I ever encountered teaching safety, joy, and longevity, and his lecture on the history of yoga is the best class I have ever taken. This includes seven years of university (grad school is included in that
btw), and traveling across the globe for dance and yoga studies. I even packed up my daughter when she was 5 months old and drove two hours to sit with her jumping on my lap for the entire three hour lecture, and that was the fourth time I had heard it. As a teacher he is totally inspiring and as a person he is very real and very funny. He is also
ridiculously cool..............
